Shared custody calendar Included in the plan

Custody calendar: one schedule for both households

The CoParent.ch calendar is the shared custody schedule for separated parents in Switzerland. You set your rhythm (week on week off, 2-2-3, 7-7, 5-2…), CoParent generates the whole year with your canton's school holidays, and every change has to be accepted by both parents. It is included in the base plan, from CHF 8.- a month.

Sound familiar?

"Wait, do you have Léa on Wednesday?" The schedule lives in two heads, in two versions, and the swap agreed by phone three weeks ago is written nowhere.

With CoParent

One calendar, generated for the year, approved month by month by both parents. Every swap is proposed, accepted or declined, and dated.

Everything the calendar does

Fourteen features built for shared custody, from the base rhythm to everyday surprises.

Every custody schedule

Alternating even/odd week, fixed days, or rotating cycles: 2-2-3, 7-7, 5-2, 4-3, 3-4-4-3, 2-2-5-5. The calendar adapts to your arrangement, however complex it is.

Monthly approval

Draft → submission → the co-parent approves or declines with a reason → the month is locked. Notifications at each step.

Swap requests

Propose a swap from the calendar; the co-parent accepts or declines. The calendar updates on both sides.

Swiss public & school holidays

Public holidays and school holidays for all 26 Swiss cantons displayed automatically.

AI analysis of your agreement

Upload your separation or divorce agreement: the AI reads the document and automatically pre-configures your custody schedule. Get started in seconds, with no re-entry.

iCal sync

Subscribe your iPhone, Google Calendar or Outlook in read-only mode. The schedule follows you everywhere. Your appointments and recurring visits travel with it, at their exact times.

Appointments, activities and visits

A time slot, the parent in charge, and an optional reminder the day before. Both parents see it, on the day it belongs to.

Remarks & history

One note per day (appointment, instruction…), timestamped and signed. A complete history of who did what.

Rules per period

Easter, Ascension, Whitsun, Federal Fast, Christmas, New Year — a distinct rule for even/odd years, with a customisable day window around each holiday.

Instant readability

Month, week and day views. One colour and one icon per parent. Draft vs approved clearly distinguished.

Shared items

Car, pets (dog, cat…), sports gear: manage the items that move between the two households. Each item is linked to the relevant custody space.

Recurring daytime visits

Every week or every other week, up to two years ahead, created in one go. Exactly what a night-by-night schedule cannot express: a visit with no overnight stay.

Bulk editing

Select several days at once and assign them in a single action, instead of going through them one by one.

Always up to date on both sides

Your co-parent's changes appear in your calendar without you having to reload the page.

No change without both parents' agreement

A swap, an extra day, an exception: the parent who wants it sends a request, and the other accepts or declines it with a reason. Until it is accepted, the schedule stays as it is, and every request keeps its date in the history.

Swap requests Swap requests: a pending request with its date, requester, proposed change, reason and approve or decline actions.
New in September

Three answers to the exceptions that complicate everything.

New

Split the school holidays

Your canton's holidays, a sharing rule (half and half, one week each, all with one parent), who starts, and a day-by-day preview before anything is written.

New

Unexpected mode

Sick child, cancelled train: in two gestures the day switches, the other parent gets an SMS within the minute and a compensation day is proposed.

New

Your own appointment categories

Paediatrician, speech therapist, judo: rename, add, colour. Each parent reads the original categories in their own language.

PDF reports

The calendar's PDF reports

Generated in one click, A4 and dated: for school, a mediator, a lawyer or your own records. They reflect what the parents entered and are not official documents.

PDF reports PDF reports: monthly schedule, custody summary, swap history, custody certificate, activity log and yearly fairness table.

Custody certificate

A summary of the custody split recorded over a period, to hand to the school, the nursery or your lawyer. Each daytime care slot is listed: date, time and duration. It is not an official document.

Monthly schedule

The month's custody in a grid, day by day, coloured by parent, with public and school holidays. Signature space included.

Custody summary

Over a period: days and nights per parent, month by month and totals — plus the hours of daytime care, counted separately. Ideal for checking the balance.

Swap history

All swap requests (accepted, declined, pending) with dates, parents involved and reasons.

Activity log

Daily remarks and swap requests for the month, in chronological order, signed and dated.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the custody calendar

Which custody schedules does the calendar support?

Week on week off, fixed weekdays and rotating cycles: 2-2-3, 7-7, 5-2, 4-3, 3-4-4-3 and 2-2-5-5. You set the rhythm once, CoParent generates the whole year, and you then adjust single days as needed.

Can my co-parent change the schedule without my agreement?

No. Every change goes through a request that the other parent accepts or declines, and each month is approved by both parents before it is locked. Nothing changes silently.

Are my canton's school holidays included?

Yes. Public holidays and school holidays for all 26 Swiss cantons appear automatically. A planner helps you split them (half and half, one week each, or all with one parent), with a day-by-day preview before you confirm.

Can I see the schedule in my phone's calendar?

Yes. Each parent can subscribe to the schedule from an iPhone, Google Calendar or Outlook (iCal format), read-only. Appointments and daytime visits appear with their exact times.

What if my child only comes during the day, without staying overnight?

The schedule assigns nights; a daytime visit is entered as an appointment, every week or every other week, up to two years ahead. Custody reports count those hours of care separately.

Is the calendar included in the subscription?

Yes. The calendar, swap requests, notifications and custody reports are part of the base plan: CHF 8.- a month or CHF 80.- a year for both households, after a 14-day free trial with no credit card.

Security and privacy

The schedule, the notes and the swap requests are hosted in Switzerland. Only the members of your household can see them, plus, if you invite one, the mediator who supports you, read-only.
