Calendar
Each parent sees the custody schedule in colour (one colour per parent). Week, month and year views are available. Cantonal school holidays are pre-filled automatically.
Yes. You can set a base schedule (alternating week, 2-2-3, etc.) then adjust case by case. Changes are recorded in the history.
Click on the day concerned and select "Propose a swap". The co-parent receives a notification and can accept or decline in one click. Everything is timestamped.
Yes. We integrate the official calendars of all Swiss cantons. They appear automatically in your calendar.
Yes. Create a shared event visible to both parents, with a time slot, the parent in charge and, if you wish, a reminder the day before. An event that comes back every week or every other week is created in one go, up to the date of your choice.
Yes. You choose your notification preferences (email, SMS or both) for custody changes, pending requests and upcoming events.
That is a common situation, especially with young children and when contact is being gradually restored. The schedule assigns whole nights, so set the parent the child sleeps with for all seven days, then enter the daytime visits as recurring events. Your reports then count those hours separately, without distorting how the nights are shared.
Custody schedules
CoParent.ch supports all the schedules common in Switzerland: alternating week (7-7), 2-2-3, 5-2, 4-3, 3-4-4-3, 2-2-5-5, and fixed-day configurations. You set your schedule once in the settings, and the calendar is generated for the whole year automatically.
The 2-2-3 schedule is a rotating cycle over two weeks: the child spends 2 days with one parent, 2 days with the other, then 3 days with the first — and the alternation starts again. It is often preferred for young children because it avoids long, week-long separations.
Yes. You can set specific rules for school holidays (Easter, Ascension, Christmas, etc.), different from the base schedule, with even/odd-year variants. CoParent integrates the school holidays of all 26 Swiss cantons automatically.
Yes. You can adjust days occasionally via a swap request, or change the base schedule for a new period. All changes are recorded in the history.
Shared expenses Optional module
It lets you enter children-related spending (health, school, leisure, clothing…), add a photo of the receipt, and automatically calculate the balance between parents.
You set the split key per child (for example 50/50 or 60/40). The balance is calculated automatically. Each parent sees what they owe or what they are owed.
Yes. Every submitted expense must be approved by the co-parent. In case of a dispute, you can add a comment. The complete history is authoritative.
Yes. Export to PDF or CSV at any time, by period or by child. Useful for mediation, taxes or your lawyer.

Documents Optional module
It provides a shared storage space between the two parents for important files: health record, school reports, certificates, prescriptions, etc.
PDF, images (JPG, PNG), and common documents. Each file is limited to 10 MB. The total space depends on your plan.
Yes. Any uploaded document is visible to both parents. You receive a notification when something new is added.
Yes. They are stored on servers in Switzerland, encrypted at rest and in transit. Only the two co-parents of the household have access.

Exclusively in Switzerland, at Infomaniak (data centre in Geneva). No data transfer to the US or outside Europe.
CoParent is compliant with the new Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and the GDPR. We apply the principle of data minimisation.
Yes. All connections use TLS 1.3 (encryption in transit). Sensitive data is also encrypted at rest on our servers.
Only you and your co-parent have access to your household. The CoParent team never accesses your personal data except by legal obligation or at your express support request.
Yes. You can at any time export all of your data (calendar, expenses, documents) in standard formats (PDF, CSV, ZIP).
Yes. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your personal data is erased from our servers within 30 days.
Yes. You can enable two-step verification (TOTP) from your account's security settings.
Yes. Automatic daily backups, kept for 30 days, stored in a separate Swiss data centre.

Why use a tool dedicated to co-parenting in Switzerland?
A standard calendar lets you set dates, but it doesn't tell you whether a change was proposed, accepted, declined or disputed.
