Why a beta phase first?
Organising shared custody touches on sensitive matters: the children's schedule, expenses, official documents, and communication between two households that don't always find it easy to talk to each other. Before opening the platform widely, we chose to build it alongside a small group of co-parents, gather their feedback on real-world use - not just on paper - and adjust the tool accordingly.
This period allowed us to refine concrete details: the clarity of custody cycles (2-2-3, 7-7, 5-2...), the reliability of email and SMS reminders, and the simplicity of calculating shared expenses between the two parents. CoParent.ch therefore arrives in open access with a foundation already proven in everyday use.

The platform brings together, in a single space, what for many separated families remains scattered today across texts, emails, spreadsheets and loose papers.
- Shared calendar: a custody schedule visible to both parents, with 2-2-3, 7-7, 5-2 or a custom cycle, and the school holidays of all 26 cantons integrated automatically.
- Change requests: one parent proposes a custody swap, the other accepts or declines it in one click - with the history kept.
- Structured communication: exchanges organised by topic, to keep a clear record in case of disagreement.
- Official PDF reports: schedule, custody certificate, exchange log - ready to send to a school, a lawyer or an authority.
- Shared expenses (add-on): expense entry, attached receipts, automatic calculation of the balance between the two households.
- Shared documents (add-on): health record, school tracking, certificates, organised and accessible to both parents.
A price designed for two households
CoParent.ch is paid for once for both parents: no duplicate subscription. The base plan costs CHF 8.-/month and gives access to the shared calendar, change requests, PDF reports and email and SMS notifications, for an unlimited number of children. The Expenses and Documents modules are add-ons at CHF 2.-/month each, to activate only if you need them.

How to get started
Getting started takes three steps: create your account, add your child's (or children's) profile, then invite the other parent to join your shared space. The calendar can be set up right away with your current custody schedule, and your canton's school holidays are added automatically.
You can use CoParent.ch on your own at first - while you invite the other parent - to prepare your schedule or centralise your documents even before the space is shared.
